U.S. Women Beat Toray in Pre-World Scrimmage

The U.S. Women’s National Volleyball Team continued its preparation for the 2010 FIVB World Championship by sweeping Toray in a five-set friendly exhibition match versus Japan’s reigning V-League champions Toray on Oct. 26 in Japan.
The Americans, who start the FIVB World Championship versus Thailand on Oct. 29 at Matsumoto, won the scrimmage 25-21, 25-17, 25-21, 25-16, 25-21 as 13 of the 14 available players played at least two sets.
