Universal Sports recaps the 2008 seasonĀ

Comeback Performer -- Logan Tom, USA

Despite leading the U.S. women in scoring at the 2004 Olympics, Logan Tom was benched near the end of the tournament for poor play as the team finished fifth. She spent the next three years playing professionally overseas and on the beach in the United States, but not indoors for Team USA. And after being named the 2006 AVP Rookie of the Year, it appeared as if Tom might stay on the beach full-time. But her partnerships never completely prospered, so she worked her way back onto the U.S. women's indoor team. In leading the team to silver in Beijing, its first Olympic medal since 1992, Tom led the tournament in scoring. Also check out "Logan Tom does it on the hard court and on the beach" here.
