TOM UPDATE: Logan Tom (Salt Lake City, Utah), a three-time U.S. Olympian and BestScorer of the 2008 Olympic Games, is playing with Hisamitsu Springs in the Japanese
V-League. Hisamitsu Springs had its six-match win streak snapped by Pioneer 25-23, 25-21, 25-13 on Feb. 14, just one week after it had defeated the same team in fi ve sets. Tom scored 13 points in the loss via 11 kills and two blocks. One day later, Hisamitsu Springs lost its second consecutive match 25-16, 25-16, 22-25, 26-24 to Toray. Tom collected 10 kills, one block and one ace for 12 points in the loss. Hisamitsu Springs, currently in fourth place with a 12-8 record, plays fi fth-place Okayama on Feb. 21 and eighth-place Toyota on Feb. 22 at Saga.
