The Beach Volleyball season is starting to heat up and Universal Sports is your home for all the FIVB Beach Volleyball action.
Our coverage of this weekend kicks off with FIVB Men’s Beach Volleyball Bronze & Gold Medal Matches in Prague, Czech Republic. Three American teams – Phil Dalhausser & Todd Rogers, Jake Gibb & Sean Rosenthal, and Casey Jennings & Brad Keenan – remain in contention for the gold medal. Our LIVE coverage runs on Sunday, June 20 from 6-8:30 am ET.

This Weekend's FIVB and AVP Results 1 Year, 7 Months ago  
The world’s top-ranked team and reigning Olympic champs Todd Rogers and Phil Dalhausser took gold at this past weekend’s FIVB World Tour Event in Prague despite entering the losers’ bracket earlier in the week.
In other pro-volleyball news, Matt Fuerbringer and Nick Lucena beat the top-seeded team of John Hyden and Sean Scott to capture gold at the AVP Tournament in Virginia Beach on Sunday in straight sets.

I'm not sure about the world Grand Prix games, but I do know they'll be showing the men's final match for this weekend's AVP Tour Stop at Belmont. The match will take place on Sunday, June 27 at 4pm ET. Be sure to visit Universal Sports for more information on their sports coverage.

Independence Day Volleyball! 1 Year, 7 Months ago  
The Swatch FIVB World Tour continues this weekend with the ConocoPhillips Grand Slam Event in Stavanger, Norway. All of the top American teams will are competing, including Todd Rogers and Phil Dalhausser, Jake Gibb and Sean Rosenthal, and Matt Fuerbringer and Nick Lucena for the men. Jen Kessy and April Ross, Misty May-Treanor and Nicole Branagh, and Angie Akers and Tyra Turner will be competing in the women’s tournament as well. You can watch the medal round for both the men’s and women’s tournaments LIVE at www.universalsports.com at 10:45am ET on Saturday, July 3 (Women’s medal rounds), and 9:15am ET on Sunday, July 4 (Men’s medal rounds). Additionally, you can catch the matches on both Universal Sports and NBC (July 4, 4:30pm ET). Hope you all have a great Independence Day weekend!

The American teams of Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers and Misty May-Treanor and Nicole Branagh both took home bronze at the ConocoPhillips Grand Slam at Stavenger, Norway this past weekend. Energy Grand Slam 1 Year, 7 Months ago  
This weekend, the Swatch FIVB World Tour makes a stop in Gstaad, Switzerland for the 1 to 1 Energy Grand Slam 2010. The teams of Dalhausser and Rogers and Kessy-Ross and April lead the American contingents for the men’s and women’s fields, respectively, and hope to continue what has so far been a strong season for them. You can watch the medal rounds for both the men’s and women’s competition on July 10-11 on www.universalsports.com!

Record Setting Season? 1 Year, 7 Months ago  
Phil Rogers and Todd Dalhausser took gold in the 1 to 1 Energy Grand Slam in Gstaad, Switzerland this weekend. The victory marks their fifth in 8 tries this season on the Swatch FIVB World Tour. Incredibly, the pair has been to at least the semifinals in every single tournament this season. With six men’s events remaining in the tour, Rogers and Dalhausser are well on track to break the tour record for victories for both men and women, currently held by the team of Juliana-Larissa at 8 victories. Hermosa Beach Open 1 Year, 6 Months ago  
The AVP Tour comes out west to California this weekend for the Hermosa Beach Open. Top women’s teams Jennifer Kessy and April Ross, Nicole Branagh and Misty May-Treanor, and Angie Akers and Tyra Turner are the main contenders for the title at this historic beach volleyball site in what promises to be an exciting tournament.
